There is a certain amount of uncertainty in the season of summer 2021. It is a concern about the manner we will serve our society can incorporate the highly appreciated connections between people that Rotary members have experienced during previous time. While the "hands looking out into space" principle is certainly a an integral part of our routine it is clear that the trust in Rotary is growing, and more members are making contact with each other. But Rotary has changed. The months that will lead up to the summer of 2021, it is unclear how we will provide service to the local community. This is based on the human connections that was enjoyed by Rotary previous members. The phrase "hands face space" will become one of the routines however, it is clear there's an increase in faith and need to be face-to-face with people. However, Rotary has changed. Rotary network helps to create lasting friendships. We've honed our practices maintaining meeting online for business' whilst reintroducing activities for service and social in a safe face-to-face format. In order to create a new exciting future, we've embraced this opportunity and combined them with some of the most efficient pre-pandemic practices. We are aware that volunteering through the network of Rotary builds lasting relationships based by the common experience of volunteering time to serve the community benefit. It's amazing to observe the way our members are able to come up with creative solutions to some of the most difficult problems. I am so thankful to be a part of the team.
